Warehouse space for rent lets you hold stock close to your customers without taking on a building of your own. Farbe Enterprise arranges rented space for general, dry goods in the Indian city you need, on short or long terms, with handling and inventory services available when you want them.

Renting space instead of a whole building

Leasing an entire warehouse commits you to rent, staff, security and upkeep for years, sized to a volume you can only estimate today. Renting space inside an operated facility turns much of that fixed cost into a flexible one: you pay for the space your stock takes and the services you use, and you can adjust as the business changes. It is a common first step for brands entering a new region, manufacturers that have run out of room, and traders who need a buffer between purchase and sale.

What you can store

We work with general and dry goods: products that do not need temperature control and are not classed as hazardous. Typical examples include:

• Finished goods waiting for dispatch to dealers, retailers or online customers
• Packaging material such as cartons, bags, films and labels
• Dry, non-hazardous raw materials and components
• Seasonal or festival stock that no longer fits at your own site
• Spares, fixtures and project material held for a set period

Chilled, pharmaceutical and hazardous goods need specialist facilities, which we do not currently provide. Short-term or long-term warehouse space for rent

Charges depend on the city, the goods, the space they take and how often they move, so we quote against your actual requirement rather than publishing a flat rate.

Checks before you rent in a new city

• Tax registration. Holding stock in another state usually means taking GST registration there and declaring the warehouse as a place of business. Confirm the details with your tax adviser before stock moves.
• Truck access. Can the vehicles you use reach the dock at the times you need, and are there local restrictions on heavy vehicles?
• Building condition. Look for a sound roof, a dry and level floor, working drainage and adequate lighting.
• Security and insurance. Ask who guards the site, how entry is recorded and whose policy covers your stock.
• Paperwork. Agree how e-way bills, delivery challans and receiving records will be handled.

Add services when you need them

Space on its own is fine. When you want more, we can add inventory management, pick, pack and dispatch, labelling, kitting, repacking and quality checks, plus transport coordination for inbound and outbound loads.
